| Summer 2010 | Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo: Performances are at 8:00 pm each night and are held at the Rodeo arena just 4 miles west of town. Junior Smokejumper Program: Learn about smoke jumping with hands-on activities. This free program is open to children ages 6 - 12, Monday - Saturday. Located on Dunraven Street. Music in the Park: Bring the family, lawn chairs, picnics and blankets and enjoy a casual evening in the great outdoors. |
| June 2010 | Train Days: Commemorates the arrival of the first Union Pacific passenger train in West Yellowstone. Free admission to the Museum of the Yellowstone. |
| June 2010 | Janet Clarkson Memorial Triathlon. This annual event is held in honor and memory of Janet Clarkson for the benefit of the West Yellowstone School's Scholarship Fund and the American Cancer Society. |
| July 4, 2010 | Enjoy an outdoor BBQ in the Chamber parking lot from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Parade at 5:30 - 6:00 pm. Fireworks can be viewed from the City Park at 10:00 pm. Big Brothers and Big Sisters Rummage Sale: An annual event to benefit the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of West Yellowstone will be held in the Town Park from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. |
| August 5 - 8, 2010 | 40th Annual Yellowstone Rod Run. |
| August 2010 | 5th Annual Smoking Waters Mountain Man Rendezvous. Entertainment and competitions such as Cowboy Poetry, Black Powder Shoot, Knife and Tomahawk Throws are all part of the ten day event. |
| September 2010 | Annual Knothead Jamboree: Square Dancing. A full weekend of calling and clapping for all levels and ages. |
